| Personal History | Born on a failed Federation colony named Eden, Ferguson is the only child of an unknown Tellarite and Mary Ferguson, a saloon owner and some time prostitute. Mary abandoned him shortly after birth, and he was claimed by a religious sect, who tried to beat the demon out of him. Escaping as soon as he was able, he worked as a crewmen aboard freighters. One day the freighter he was working on was attacked by pirates, who were defeated by the assistance of a Starfleet vessel USS Brighton. Ferguson was taken aboard the vessel and requested asylum. On Earth awaiting a decision, the young man was given an education. After he was granted asylum, he finished his schooling and enlisted in Starfleet as an Engineer |
